• Fannie Mae Single-Family Loan Performance Data — Provided by Fannie Mae for educational, research, and analytical purposes.
• Freddie Mac Single-Family Loan-Level Dataset — Provided by Freddie Mac.
• FRED — Federal Reserve Economic Data, Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis.
• Market rates & futures — Various public market-data publications.

mtgmon.com is a public mortgage analytics site with no user accounts. This page describes what visitor data we collect and why.

What we collect

We run a self-hosted instance of Umami for analytics. For each page view we record:

• The URL of the page visited and the referring URL.
• Approximate geographic location (country, region, city) derived from your IP address.
• Browser, operating system, and screen size.
• A one-way hash combining your IP and browser used to count unique daily visitors. The hash rotates every day and cannot be linked across days.

Website analytics do not store your raw IP address. Umami does not set cookies and does not assign you a persistent identifier. We don't use Google Analytics, Plausible, Facebook Pixel, or any third-party tracker.

MCP access logs

Requests to the public MCP endpoint are recorded in a private operational access log. Each record contains the request time, client IP address, approximate country, region, and city supplied by Cloudflare, coarse client application family, HTTP method, and response status. These records are retained for 30 days and used to understand MCP adoption, investigate errors, prevent abuse, and operate the service.

MCP access logs do not contain prompts, tool arguments, mortgage-data responses, raw user-agent strings, or names and account information.

What we don't collect

• Your name, email, account, or any other personally identifying information — there are no user accounts.
• Prompts, tool arguments, or MCP response contents in access logs.
• Cross-site tracking data.

Where it's stored

Website analytics and MCP access logs are stored on servers we operate (Hetzner Cloud, US-West region). Cloudflare processes inbound traffic and supplies the approximate MCP request location; access-log records are not shared with other third parties.

Cookies

mtgmon does not set any cookies for tracking, analytics, advertising, or personalization. The site may use a short-lived local-storage entry to remember your theme or layout preference if you change it. That entry never leaves your browser.

Changes

If we add features that collect more data (for example, ad remarketing), we will update this page before turning them on and may add a consent prompt where required.
